Don’t Know Frack Part 1 Range Resources Don’t Know Frack Part 2 DEP-Don’t Know Frack Part 3 BREAKING NEWS: September 25, 2013 DEP FINES ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY $60,000 FOR VARIOUS VIOLATIONS Excerpts: The Department of Environmental Protection announced today it has signed a consent order and agreement with Microbac Laboratories of Pittsburgh, which requires the lab to pay a civil penalty of $60,000 and to conduct an independent review of its laboratory in Baltimore, Maryland. Microbac Baltimore was accredited under DEP’s National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program to test and analyze drinking water, non-potable water, and a variety of soils, chemicals and liquids. Don’t Know Frack Part 1 Range Resources Don’t Know Frack Part 2 Michael Krancer was appointed as Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Secretary by Governor Tom Corbett in 2011. Krancer resigned his position effective April 15, 2013 and returned to his old law firm of Blank Rome which represents a number of natural gas corporations operating in the Marcellus Shale. He is now head of Blank Rome’s Energy, Petrochemical & Natural Resources Practice.
