Not content to frack farms, homesteads, people, ponds, parks, cattle, school kids, lakes, or forests, in an unseemly turn of events, given the plunge in gas prices, frackers have turned to fracking each other, as this report from Canada indicates: one fracker fracked another fracker’s fracking well, causing it to fracking fountain.

As reported by FOX Canada’s Sheila Face: “One fracking company, not content with fracking its own well, upped the pressure over Canadian Board of Standards standards and fracked a nearby well, according to one observer, “out of spite.”
Said Mick McMack at the scene: “That mob said they were running at 10,000 psi, and our pumps couldn’t top that, eh.” He spit tobacco into a styrofoam cup. “So we cranked those babies up to 12,000 psi and showed them who’s boss of this fracking hole, eh. ”
Responding for the frackee (the party fracked by the fracker), Hammish McCameron retorted, “It’s true, eh, we were bested when their downhole pressure topped our downhole pressure of 9,500 psi, eh. And by gum, up she come, eh !” He coughed up a phlegm ball then took at drag from his Molson, “But we intend to show them, eh. We have some new pumps coming up from Wyoming and when they get here, we’ll frack those frackers sky high,eh !” chuckling to himself, holding his massive beer gut.
As it really happened, eh:
“Hydraulic fracturing operations conducted by Midway Energy Ltd. (Midway) at surface location Legal Subdivision (LSD) 3, Section 16, Township 35, Range 3, West of the 5th Meridian (Midway well) affected a nearby producing oil well operated b Wild Stream Exploration Inc. (Wild Stream) at surface location LSD 06-09-035-03W5M (Wild Stream well). This resulted in a release of hydraulic fracturing and formation fluids (crude oil, produced water, and natural gas) at the surface of the Wild Stream well.
Initial Notification
At approximately 4:30 p.m., a member of the public noticed fluids being discharged from the Wild Stream wellhead. This person immediately proceeded to the Midway site at LSD 03-09-035-03W5M to inform them of the event and contacted the Wild Stream emergency contact centre at 4:46 p.m. A Wild Stream operator was en route and, after completing an initial inspection and attempting to isolate the wellhead, the operator called the Wild Stream production manager at 5:10 p.m. to confirm an uncontrolled release of fluid.
Cause of the Well Control Incident
The Wild Stream well is a vertical wellbore with a surface and bottomhole location at
LSD 06-09-035-03W5M. The Midway well is a horizontal wellbore drilled to a bottomhole
location of LSD 03-09-035-03W5M. The two wells were targeting the same geological
formation, and communication between the two wells occurred within this formation at a depth of approximately 1850 metres (m) below the surface.”
The largest setback in the proposed New York fracking regulations is not from a lake or a house but from another well bore . . . go figure, eh ?

“The largest setback in the proposed New York fracking regulations is not from a lake or a house but from another well bore…”
If only they knew where all those old bores are, out in the brambles behind the woodshed…
