Christine Moore and her family had an dream. They worked hard to make it a reality. In Ohio’s Amish Country they bought property and began a horse rescue.
Then came the gas leases, and the traffic, and the noise and the fracking.
Prior to the fracking starting near her property, she had her water tested to establish a baseline. Tests showed her water was safe to drink.
Two months after fracking a well near her property, Christine’s water went bad. An oily film was visible, and the water in her home (even though it was filtered through a softener), began to give the family severe stomach aches.
This is her story, and that of many other families across our country.

As a friend of Christine’s, it was so very difficult to feel her frustrations, emotional pain, and complete devastation as she lost her beloved rescued horses and then her home and be totally unable to help her.
With this article and video, hopefully, others can realize not only the physical impact of the Fracking but the emotional piece as well.
I can’t help Christine in any other way, except to share her story and hope that others will not only continue to fight the Fracking, but will fight harder to slow it down, keep it from expanding and hopefully even try to STOP it!!
My heart is breaking for Christine……..and so many others too!
Sue the crap out of the State of Ohio’s ODNR and the fracking company to get a state wide injunction from the court system. File it in Columbus through a hand picked legal team. Sue for damages to yourself, your business, and your family. Then have the neighbors do the same. This contamination is all going into our food supplies. NEOGAP has told ODNR that fracking with water will breakout through cracks and older drilling sites and will leech the gas and fracking fluid byproducts to the surface and aquifers.
When I read Christine’s story on FB several days ago, I was crushed to the point that I got weepy. How can we allow this to happen in “THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD”?
They dreamt, worked and brought forth a wonderful horse rescue only to have it lost to this filthy and toxic industry. This is nothing short of sick and disgusting!
Christine and Michael, I wish you well in your future endeavors. May you find peace after all of this disruption!
