Gas Wells Don’t Pollute. And Cigarettes Don’t Kill. . .
Great new video that lays out the main fracking lies and the liars that tell them
This time from South Africa : “Unearthed, The Fracking Facade”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPIEzSwPwT0&feature=g-all-a&list=PLAE6105D2BDA8309D
They interview experts in the field (and me) and victims of fracking.
They point out that the frack itself is one of the less likely source of pollution from shale gas drilling -
The frack needs to hit a fault. Which they will - if you don’t know where they are:
When compared to the more common problems associated with shale gas - the wells leak
Horizontal well bores vent gas into groundwater = over 60% in some studies:

Or spills of mystery chemicals, flowback in trout streams, and tank truckers on meth on country roads

By the way, remember what happened to “Cigarettes Don’t Kill” ?
Lawsuits - some real doozies. Billions and billions. Changed their tune.
Advice to tort lawyers : befriend farmers that will have horizontal shale wells drilled near them .
Get their water well tested by a reputable independent lab before the well is spudded.
When their water goes bad, sue the living frack out of the driller and the operating company.
And hope that the frackers don’t go toes up before you get a big fat damage award.
