One of the issues in this year’s presidential campaign is that of energy. Romeny, the Republicans and backers have flooded coal mining states, like West Virginia, with ads declaring “Obama’s War on Coal”. Presumably, the so-called war was noticed when Obama’s campaign website originally omitted “coal” as an energy source. Coal was later added (1).
